Glasgow Film Festival: Romantic Comedy + Live Score by Summer Camp
Saturday 7 March, 2020 7 p.m.
OranMor, Top of Byres Road, G12 8QX
Romantic comedies have shaped the hearts and minds of millions across the globe. Director Elizabeth Sankey’s holds a complicated relationship with the genre: she knows many set up an unreliable narrative to human behaviour, yet she just keeps coming back for more. Her warm and witty essay film celebrates and critiques the genre, from the golden years of Hollywood right through to the present day. Join Elizabeth as she performs the score alongside her indie-pop band Summer Camp.
