THE CITY IN FLUX
This year is an incredibly special one for us. We’re celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Glasgow Buildings Preservation Trust, who first founded our festival in 1990.
A lot has happened in those 40 years, both within the Trust and the wider city itself.
<p”>They’ll be reflecting on change – the good, the bad, what you fight to save and what you let go of – as well as some of Glasgow Building Preservation Trust’s greatest achievements preserving Glasgow’s heritage.
HOW TO VISIT THE FESTIVAL
Some buildings at the festival are free for you to simply walk in, while some require booking. Information on how and what to book and which buildings require booking can be found at Glasgow Doors Open Day website.
You can also get involved online:

There will be an exhibition on display on the ARC’s ground floor throughout the week, plus an exciting programme of talks and activities taking place throughout the weekend.
You’ll be able to pick up your festival map and guide booklet there, and volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
