Lucy Lauder (she/her) is a writer originally from the Scottish Borders now living in Glasgow. Lucy studied at the University of Glasgow from 2019-2024, gaining an MA in Scottish and English Literature, and an MLitt in Modernities. Lucy is currently a Trainee Artist on the Edinburgh Book Festival’s Paper Trails project, delivering writing and reading workshops in Care Homes in Edinburgh, and is also an editor of the DIY zine BigRedCat.
Joey Simons is a writer and artist from Glasgow. His short fiction, poetry and essays have been published by Gutter, New Writing Scotland, Speculative Books, Rab Rab Press, Variant, MAP Magazine, Dowser and others. He is the editor of Let Us Act for Ourselves: selected works of Freddy Anderson and co-editor, with Henry Bell, of Now’s the day, now’s the hour: poems for John Maclean, published by Tapsalteerie in 2023. Exhibitions include Beyond the Forbidden Gate for Glasgow International 2024 as artist-in-residence for the Glasgow Sculpture Studio’s Learning & Engagement programme in North Glasgow, and his solo exhibition for Market Gallery, examining the role of translation in the workers’ theatre movement, will open next month. He is also a founding member of the Glasgow Housing Struggle Archive, and until recently was a member of Living Rent’s national committee.
