October is Black History Month, and to celebrate we’re having an open mic night for works that engage with the power of words to create meaningful change in the world.
Co-hosted by special guests Tendai Huchu, novelist and translator, and Chief Amu, African Storyteller and Musician, the evening will be a combination of live readings, video presentations, and audience submissions.
If you’d like to submit poetry or a work of short prose (readers will be given ten minutes at the microphone), send your entry to info@scottishwriterscentre.org.uk
Submissions will close shortly, so be quick if you’d like to contribute!
