Give it a Go: Poetry Writing, Dr Linda Jackson
Aye Write! Creative Writing Programm
Glasgow Book Festival, Mitchell Library, North Street
7th April, 5.30 – 7.30 p.m.
This session is for those who have been circling the poet in themselves for some time or for those who have been tentatively beginning the process of getting poems onto the page. Find out about Glasgow’s vibrant poetry scene and come along to this inspiring session where you can learn about poetic forms; be motivated to write and review your own poetry and, if you choose, you can give a short ‘one off’ performance. Maybe you know you are a ‘scribbler’ at heart or maybe you have hidden notebooks full of ideas. Suitable for all levels.
£20
