Thursday, 23 October, 2025, 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The Clutha Bar – 167-169 Stockwell Street, Glasgow

Grammy winner Nora Guthrie, daughter of US folk singer Woody Guthrie, and her friends will be at The Clutha, when Nora will be retracing her famous father’s footsteps.

Woody played an impromptu set at The Clutha while on shore leave from his US Merchant Navy ship during WW2. Woody died of Huntington’s disease in 1967, and Nora with a team from Scottish Huntington’s Association is helping raise awareness about the disease.

Nora will be getting a real Scottish welcome, with a few surprises along the way!
