Sri Lankan Curry Night to Raise Funds for Taking Young People Abroad

G20 Youth Project, 21 Dunbeith Place, G20 8HS

The G20 will be taking on the epic adventure of travelling across Sri Lanka to raise money for the G20 Youth Project 20th – 30th  March 2025. Come along and help support their adventure of a lifetime at Sri Lankan Curry night with chef to the stars Guy Cowan.

Guy is supporting their project by cooking a traditional Sri Lankan Meal. This 5 star meal will allow people to sample some traditional food, meet like minded people while supporting G20 Youth Project. The event will be a chance for supporters to hear about the project and to get involved in supporting a brighter future for young people facing barriers.  There will also be a chance to  find out about the adventure to Sri Lanka and other trips young people will be undertaking as well as enjoying music and a raffle.

The young people who have shown the biggest progress in their journey and who want to make positive change have been chosen to take part in the project. They will be the role models for other young people.

large minority

G20 has teamed up with Large Minority to take on The Great Sri Lanka Tuk-Tuk Adventure which sees fundraising teams navigate the winding roads of Sri Lanka in their own 3 wheeled Tuk-Tuks! Each Tuk-Tuk can hold 1-3 team members who will take on an epic 1000km route all in the name of their chosen charity G20 Youth Project- the event has been created to inspire charitable fundraising and provide a truly unique travel experience on the beautiful island of Sri Lanka.

This event will be transformational for the those who participate as it will build confidence, resilience and a belief in themselves. They will achieve things they never thought possible and this will have a knock on impact in the community back in Glasgow.

Looking forward to welcoming you all on the 7th March and thank you for your support x
