Mackintosh Group of Writers – Evening with at Helensburgh Library

Thursday, December 8th, 2022 at 7 p.m.
The Mackintosh Group of Writers would like to invite you to ‘An Evening with Local Writers at Christmas.
Helensburgh Library, 59 W King St, Helensburgh G84 8EB.
There will be a chance to meet local authors, buy books – signed, many at discount prices with no postage costs and no worrying about ‘Will they arrive in time for Christmas?’ There will be booklets being sold for charity at £1 each. One is for the Dementia Cafe in Helensburgh and the other is Beatson Cancer Research.
Enjoy some short, Christmassy readings as well as wine and seasonal snacks.

Robin Lloyd-Jones – Fiction – historical novels, short stories, Non-fiction – Narrative non-fiction (memoir/ravel adventure, Essays on outdoor topics, nature and ageing , Poetry – mainly haiku and haibun
Catriona Malan – poetry
Evelyn Lawrie – poetry, mixed themes
Robin Scott-Elliot – historical fiction and the age range is 9 to 90 (or as high as you can go).
Daniel Sellers – crime thrillers
Paul Murdoch – Nature and Heritage, fitness in later life, children and young adult fantasy adventure.
Ann MacKinnon – poetry in Scots and English, promoting
Mary Edward – historical fiction
Martin Goldie – poetry,
Pat McIntosh – historical mystery fiction and fantasy.
Mary Irvine – semi auto-biography, myth/legend
Graham Morgan – mental health, well-being
