A Winter Wonderland in the Heart of Glasgow at George Square

Enjoy festive fun at the fair in George Square under  the Christmas lights.

Something for everyone with open air ice rink, see stunning views of the city from the massive observation wheel, have fun on the Victorian carousel, helter skelter and flying chairs.

Entertainment

Every afternoon on the performance stage you will be treated to entertainment with singers, dancers and surprise guests

Photographs

Make memories with photo opportunities: Santa’s snow globe, as well as Santa’s flying balloons and a festive train ride!

Festive Food Treats

There will be a tasty selection of food and drink on offer – choose from luxury hot chocolates, delicious crepes and wraps, Bratwurst and more.

The Christmas Fair and ice rink will open from Thursday 1 December to Sunday 8 January 2023 on the days and times below:

Monday to Friday – 10.00am-10.00pm, last skating session at 9.00pm – except for Thursday 1 December (noon-10.00pm); and Monday 26 December (noon-10.00pm).

Saturdays and Sundays – 10.00am-10.00pm, last skating session at 9.00pm – except for Saturday 24 December (10.00am-8.00pm, last skating session at 7.00pm); Sunday 25 December (CLOSED); Saturday December 31 (10.00am-8.00pm, last skating session at 7.00pm); and Sunday 1 January 2023 (CLOSED).

Monday 2 January to the Sunday 8 January, 2023 10 am till 10pm, last skating session 9pm.

There is a chill-out zone, a calming and relaxing safe space ideal for any visitors with ASN or sensory issues.
