Glasgow Loves Christmas Ice Skating St Andrews Day, George Square
Glasgow Loves St Andrew’s Day – Sunday 30 November, 2014
Come together down to Glasgow On Ice this St Andrew’s Day, and enjoy a skate with a Scottish twist.
On the ice, the music will be strictly Scotia! Off the ice, and there’s plenty to keep you entertained, with Scottish food and drink, the fairground, pop up pipes and a visit from the Big Boys!
Later that night between 4.30pm until 9.30pm, displayed on the front of the City Chambers, we present a snapshot of Scotland on this one day. From the culinary choices to the partying possibilities we’ll show St Andrew’s Day celebrations as a chance to gather and begin the winter and festive season with aplomb, with an intimate light show.
