Wednesday 31st - between Clouston Street and Kelbourne Street, North Kelvinside
The North Kelvin Meadow campaign - battling to save local green space from an unpopular housing plan - is staging a one of a kind Hallowe'en event tomorrow (Wednesday, October 31).
Actor and campaign supporter Tam Dean Burn will be performing a unique reading of Julia Donaldson's The Room on the Broom, and every child will be given a packed dinner courtesy of Tesco (who will be providing food) and North Star (who will be making the dinner boxes).
Children (and adults) can come dressed up. There will also be face painting and Hallowe'en activities, and the fun starts at 4:30pm
Though these events are free, the campaign values donations as they help to cover costs which are otherwise carried by a small number of the local community.

Frankenstein is James Whale's 1931 horror classic regarded as the definitive film version of Mary Shelley's tale of tragedy and horror. According to Rotten Tomatoes "Frankenstein adroitly explores the fine line between genius and madness."
Synopsis: Henry Frankenstein, a scientist, and his devoted assistant Fritz, a hunchback, piece together a human body and bring it to life. Boris Karloff stars as the monster created by Frankenstein and the film focuses on his struggle in this 'life after death'.
