Doors Open Day Glasgow 2011

Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September 2011.

There will also be associated events taking place from Monday 12th September. There will be more than a hundred buildings opening their doors and many new participants included in this year's festival. Entry to all buildings is free.

There is something for everyone in all parts of the city including: the new Scottish Conservatoire (Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama), guided tours of Hampden Park, Govan's Pearce Institute, Glasgow School of Art, Tennent's Wellpark Brewery and City Allotments and much more....

There will be a Subway Tour and new walks including 'Jacobite Glasgow' and 'Kinning Park'. You can find out about many aspects of Glasgow's heritage at talks by Stephen Mullen and Neil Baxter.

Full programme and also available from libraries throughout the Glasgow. .

There will be an online booking system for Heritage Walks and some venues will require advance booking.

Arlington Baths

The club is open from 10 - 4 on Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th of September. There will be guided tours of the building including behind the scenes look at how a 140 year old Baths Club actually runs plus a Free history fact sheet for all visitors.
