Book Week Scotland

Glasgow Libraries will be hosting a week long celebration of books and reading across the city with lots of events and activities for everyone to enjoy! The programme includes talks, workshops, book groups, family fun events and author visits.

You can also take part in "Spot the Reader" where our team will be out and about around the city handing out goody bags to any readers they spot! Or why not join The Big Read on 30th November and help make history with the largest number of people taking part in a reading activity at any one time across Scotland!

Add to this a bumper event day, The Pop Up Festival - The Mitchell on 1st December featuring Viv French, Liz Lochhead, Iain Banks, Charles Jencks, Frank Cottrell Boyce and Ken MacLeod to name a few - the most exciting reading celebration you could wish for!
