T'ai Chi with Mari Graham

Photo: t'ai chi with mari graham. In 1992 i went to my first T'ai Chi class -? I was lucky, my teacher was Dr Pan Feng from Beijing University - I trained with him for two years. I enjoyed the this ancient health system so much that I eventually started teaching myself more and with my master's encouragement I reached the level required of an instructor.

? For many years now I have enjoyed passing on knowledge and skills of T'ai Chi to others, teaching in many different locations - nationally and internationally.? Apart from regular classes I also hold residential workshops in the Western Isles, including Islay and Iona and these have proved to be very popular with some participants returning time and after time and others promoting through word of mouth.

In response to demand from my students, in 2008 I made a DVD 'T'ai Chi with Mari' set in Iona; this has proved to be an excellent training tool for anybody, who is keen to learn T'ai Chi. It's tailor made for the twenty first century and allows an opportunity to learn about the system and practise regularly in your own home. The benefits of practising T'ai Chi include better mobility and flexibility, improved balance and coordination, while at the same time inducing an overall?sense of relaxation.

You can order the DVD, which costs £15 by email or telephone: Mari at 0141 952 9691.
