Thistle Gallery welcomes you this sunny Easter Weekend to see their vibrant new Exhibition which includes over 100 new artworks from some of Scotland’s most popular artists.

Several new artists have been welcomed to the Gallery including Alison Dickson, Pamela Grace, Ailsa Black and Ruth Corbett. Delighted to welcome back Donald Macleod, whose superb pastel artworks featuring landscapes and seascapes around the islands of Harris, Lewis and beyond,

Other favourite artists in the Rites of Spring Show, which runs until the end of May, include Linda Park, Alison Cowan, Stanley Bird, Jackie Henderson, Helen Tabor, Ian Elliot, Georgie Young, Moy Mackay, Fiona Millar, James Somerville Lindsay, Karenina Johnson, Gail Stirling Robertson, Dale Bissland, Sheila Hardy, Louise Dorian, Drew Mackie, Ann Armstrong, GIllian Henshaw, Michael Murison, Fiona Wilson, Sheila Fowler, Samantha McCubbin, Miriam Bell and Les Adams.

Leading Jewellers Robyn Kinsman Blake, Carol Docherty, Alicia Mcinnes, Eileen MacAlister, Clare Spencer and newcomer Sophie Totten offer up an eclectic range of designs.

Accomplished Glass artists Amanda Johnson and Dorte Pape and Ceramicists Angela Pointon, Douglas Kerr, Melanie Edward, Linda Kinsman Blake and newcomer Wei Keong Tan also have new creative designs featured within the Show.

And finally Gillian Sim”s range of felted ‘daisy brooch’ pots in an array of delightful spring colours are back in the Gallery and a talented newcomer Madeeha Maham has an exceptional range of laser cut and engraved wood exhibits depicting Glasgow’s iconic Lighthouse building.
