Things To Come GFT 2 – 8 September, 2016

Isabelle Huppert stars alongside Eden’s Roman Kolinka in this touching film.
Friday 2 – Thursday 8 September
Running time: 1h42m
Mia Hansen-Løve’s follow up to the critically acclaimed Eden is a stunning portrait of a woman searching through doubt, insecurity and grief to find herself in an ever-changing world. Isabelle Huppert (White Material, Amour) stars as philosopher Nathalie, who whilst trying to balance an ailing mother with a despondent husband and a tumultuous working life, comes back into contact with her former protégé (Eden’s Roman Kolinka) whom she finds has forged his own path. Anchored by an affecting performance from Huppert, Løve weaves a feminine and intellectual narrative about the bracing yet exciting freedom of old age. There will be specially commissioned programme notes available.
