‘How To Be Human’
10 February, 2018 – 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Royal Concert Hall,2 Sauchiehall St, Glasgow G2 3NY
Aye Write! 2018 kicks off with a ‘welcome back’ to Glasgow for Ruby Wax; actress, mental health campaigner, lecturer, and author with the follow-up to her No.1 Best-seller, Frazzled.
‘In How to Be Human: The Manual she takes us through the workings of our mind (with a little help from a monk and a neuroscientist), and explains what makes us ‘us’ in the brain. It answers everyday questions about evolution, thoughts, emotions, addictions, relationships, kids and also includes some mindfulness exercises. How to be Human is extremely funny, true and the only manual you’ll need to help you upgrade your mind as much as you’ve upgraded your iPhone. Located in Hall 2.’
£20/£10
