Treat the mother figures in your life to a special screening of Steel Magnolias or 20th Century Women this Mother’s Day.
Steel Magnolias (information and tickets) brings together six divas of the silver screen – Sally Field, Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine, Daryl Hannah, Olympia Dukakis and Julia Roberts – as bosom buddies in a hilarious and heartwarming story of life, love and loss in a small Louisiana Parish.
20th Century Women (information and tickets) is set in 1979 Santa Barbara, California, where determined single mother Dorothea Fields (Annette Bening) enlists the help of two younger women (played by Greta Gerwig and Elle Fanning) to raise her adolescent son, at a moment brimming with cultural change and rebellion.
