While We’re Young director Noah Baumbach reteams with his Frances Ha writing partner and star Greta Gerwig for this warm, delightful and sharp examination of youthful longing and female friendships. When college freshman Tracy (Lola Kirke) moves to New York, she finds the hip metropolitan life she hoped for beyond her grasp. She is rescued, however, by her future stepsister Brooke (Gerwig) – a manic socialite who includes the lonely Tracy in her increasingly hair-brained schemes. A kinetic screwball comedy about chasing dreams, creating families and stealing cats.
