The Measure of A Man, GFT, Friday 17 – Monday 20 June 2016

Cannes Best Actor award winner Vincent Lindon gives one of his finest performances as unemployed security guard Thierry.
Friday 17 – Monday 20 June
Running time: 1h33m
Vincent Lindon won the Best Actor Award at Cannes 2015 for his brilliant performance as unemployed security guard Thierry, who endures a series of humiliating ordeals in his search for work. Stéphane Brizé’s film dispassionately monitors the progress of its stoic protagonist until at last he lands a job on the front line in surveillance – and faces one too many moral dilemmas. A powerful and deeply troubling vision of the realities of our new economic order.
