Sunday 5 May, 2024 – 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
A free, activity-filled community event celebrating the formal recognition of the flag for Maryhill.
Since it was chosen by community vote in 2021, the flag for Maryhill has become a familiar and beloved symbol of unity, bringing Maryhill together in shared history whilst looking toward the future. Now, like the Saltire and the other flags and arms of Scotland, the Maryhill flag is being officially registered, and the patent of recognition from the Court of the Lord Lyon will be presented to the people of Maryhill.
