Luca Manning’s “New Beginnings” Quintet is a project which showcases the collaboration of musicians from the Scottish and London Jazz scenes. The band features Luca’s original music which takes inspiration from an eclectic mix of contemporary influences: using the voice as a fully improvising instrument within the ensemble. Luca’s music has been written throughout his time living in both Glasgow and London and reflects the new inspiration, sound and environment that his “new beginning” encompasses. The Quintet have played a range of venues in London include both Holborn and Chelsea Pizza Express venues and are planning to record together in May.
Luca will host the Late night Jam session after his performance. Entry to the Jam Session is included in the ticket. Line-Up: Luca Manning – Vocals + composition Jacob Cooper – Trombone David Swan – Keys\Synths Ali Watson – Bass Harry Ling – Drums Over 18’s only. Tickets may be subject to booking fee.
