Calling All Creatives
In partnership with the World Poetry Movement, Cheeky Besom is celebrating ‘Poetry Is The Way To Peace’ please come along for a night of debauchery, and decadence! Celebrating our Celtic roots: the mistletoe gathered by the Druids for its magical and healing properties. The Yule log burnt to counter the darkness of mid-Winter, and to bring good luck. The Holly and Ivy; evergreens to keep evil spirits at bay and, the tree decorated with symbols of solar objects.
Dust of those works in progress and put on your best prose or song for a night of literary readings, singing, and creating. Come on down to the Glasgow Literary Lounge to offer up your gifts to the Gods and Goddesses. Slots are 5-7 minutes long to be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
