Ferrari at GFT
Friday 5 – Thursday 11 January, 2024
Captions and Audio Description available.
An aptly named Adam Driver plays Formula 1 titan Enzo Ferrari in Michael Mann‘s ‘heady, intricately dark, raptly absorbing’ (Variety) sports biopic.
Behind the spectacle of his sport, he is a man in crisis. Bankruptcy threatens the factory he and his wife, Laura (Penélope Cruz) built from nothing. Their volatile marriage has been battered by the loss of their son, Dino a year earlier. Meanwhile, his drivers’ passion to win pushes them to the edge as they launch into the treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy, the Mille Miglia.
