Tết – Vietnamese Celebration of Lunar New Year

Tết is the Vietnamese celebration of the Lunar New Year and one of the most important festivals across East and Southeast Asia. It is a time to welcome the new year, honour family and ancestors, and embrace renewal and good fortune – as we celebrate the Year of the Horse in 2026 ![]()
Come along for a joyful afternoon, featuring traditional Vietnamese Tết snacks and tea, traditional Tết games, Year of the Horse craft activities, a live cooking demonstration and a live performance of traditional Vietnamese music!
You are invited to come dressed in your traditional clothing and share your heritage and culture .
No reservations necessary, just drop in. All are welcome, bring your friends, family and festive spirit!
Access information
The ground floor to GAMH Community Hub is accessible via the front entrance. There is ramped access to the cafe via 4 manual doors. It is clearly signed. Access to the upstairs of GAMH Community Hub is via a flight of stairs or a lift at reception. The building is short walk from a First Bus no.4 bus stop and St George’s Cross subway station. There are limited parking spaces directly outside the building along with parking payment meters.
