Up the winding turret staircase is the The Attic, our little oasis away from the hustle and bustle happening down on street level. With views over the garden, it is a warm and inviting room. Here you’ll find the same great menu and unpretentious vibe in a more intimate setting.

Ideal for smaller gatherings – from casual birthday parties, to work luncheons and family gatherings, or just an overdue catch-up with friends.

If you would like to book  a group of between 10-25 people, please email reservations
To enquire about hiring the space for a party of over 25 people, please email enquiries so  any questions about planning the perfect evening up in the Attic can be answered.
(Please note bookings of over 10 people are required to pay a deposit)

Cottiers’ offers a range of pleasures:

Catch some sunshine and enjoy a drink in the garden under the illuminated church steeple;  dine in the popular restaurant or enjoy a night out in the beautiful theatre.  Chose from an ever-changing programme of theatrical and musical events.  Cottiers is a popular wedding venue with its delightful surroundings and dedicated staff to assist with planning in line with your budget and taste.

Cottiers Theatre is available for hire for your production or celebration – it was the choice for the launch of our Ten Writers Telling Lies book and cd. It was a fabulous night, with full house and brilliant atmosphere. Cottier’s technical and administrative staff provided excellent professional support.

Cottiers is owned by Four Acres Charitable Trust and run for the benefit of its customers.
