West Fest: Talks Programme – Victorian Tenements and The Climate Emergency
10th June, 2024 @ 7:00 pm
Kelvin Hall 1445 Argyle Street, Glasgow, G3 8AW
We’re all aware of the need to improve energy efficiency and decarbonise the heating in existing tenement flats. Chris Morgan will shed light on practical measures to enhance our living spaces while minimising our carbon footprint. Steve Luker will examine the prospects for renewable energy development in Scotland and describe a feasibility study funded by the Scottish Government CARES scheme, carried out for a group of 200 tenement flats in Broomhill, exploring options for pioneering alternative low- carbon heating systems.
