Take One Action Film Festival at GFT
Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December, 2023
Scotland’s global action cinema project Take One Action returns to GFT with two unmissable films that reimagine our collective future and build radical hope.
White Plastic Sky is a gripping animated odyssey into life after climate apocalypse; a world where humans can only live until 50 before they are turned into trees. Forest for the Trees is a deeply moving portrait of a community of tree planters, their grief, pain, joys, and hopes. Both screenings will include post-film conversations.
Take One Action is an ad-free festival: please take your seats in the cinema at the advertised start time.
