Conference: Food, Communities and the Climate Emergency

A half day conference
hosted by Woodlands Community and Nourish Scotland.
– Making the connection between anti-poverty work, social justice issues and the climate emergency.
– Exploring what policy makers at a national level can learn from local food responses on the ground.
– Keynote Speaker – Shona Robison MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Housing and Local Government.
Tickets
Full Price Tickets cost £35, this includes tea, coffee, cakes and lunch. However there is also the option to pay what you can afford, so for people and groups on low income, you can now book for as little as £1.
All food will be plant based (vegan) and the menu will include gluten free options. When booking you can let know if you have any additional dietary requirements.
