Glasgow Havana Film Festival, CCA 2018
Wed 7 November — Sun 11 November 2018
The Havana Glasgow Film Festival [HGFF] brings the Cuban spirit to Glasgow in an international celebration of film and culture, deepening our special relationship between these great twinned cities.
This year we focus on women and film showcasing the strength of women’s voices with an array of films past and present. A women’s forum with both Cuban and Scottish speakers will initiate conversations around representation within cinema and daily life.
We are thrilled to be welcoming celebrated actor Laura de La Uz to present two films at the CCAand we screen the restored version of the iconic LUCIA, marking its 50th anniversary
