Cinemasters: Wes Anderson – Glasgow Film Theatre
Wes Anderson is a singular filmmaker; his precise vision, detached humour and particular style are unmistakable. One viewing arguably isn’t enough to take in everything contained across the many layers of his intricately-constructed stories, and their idiosyncratic characters. As his new film Isle of Dogs goes on general release, GFT is delighted to take the opportunity to revisit five of his earlier works on a tour of Wes’ world. Specially commissioned programme notes will be available.
