The Project Cafe and Tell it slant are very honoured to have Irish comedy legend and author Ian Macpherson leading the proceedings for Friday the 13th! But of course the main star is YOU. Bring a song, story or poem to share, BYOB (+corkage), and please note earlier start and finish times…
Described by fellow comedian Arthur Smith as “Comedy’s answer to James Joyce”, Ian Macpherson won the first London Time Out Comedy Award in 1988, and published Autobiography Of Ireland’s Greatest Living Genius, Deep Probings and Posterity Now, and children’s books, ‘Late Again!’, “Sweetpea”, “Crumbs” and “Bernard Brain”, and a teenage novel “A Very Nautical Boy” His play, Anguish With Posie, premiered at the Tron Theatre, Glasgow, in January 2010.
