A Play, A Pie and A Pint, Spring Summer Programme 2014
Welcome to this 20th Season of A Play A Pie and A Pint at OranMor, top of Byres Road, Glasgow G12
At the hugely popular lunchtime theatre in Glasgow West End, A Play A Pie and A Pint there are thirty-eight new plays produced every year. You can see a huge variety of work and such is the quality that theatres all over the UK are keen to show the plays. This season premiers at Òran Mór will go on to the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, Bristol Tobacco Factory, The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds, The Ayr Gaiety, Birnham Arts Centre, and, with Mull Theatre, will tour village halls in the Highlands and Islands.
A Play, A Pie and A Pint showcases plays by some of our most established and best-loved writers and also by great new young talent. Also bringing you two new works from the Caribbean and one from our sister lunchtime theatre, Bewley’s Café in Dublin. Audiences are sure to enjoy a rich mix of comedy, tragedy, music, history but above all story telling.
