Women’s Voices in Culture and Politics in Cuba CCA

**FREE** Women’s Forum: Women’s Voices in Culture and Politics in Cuba and Scotland 2018 (15+), in collaboration with Edinburgh University, followed by informal discussion and refreshments.
Screening of a 30 minute documentary about women’s lives in Cuba today, followed by a panel discussion covering the following topics:
- How do you ensure/encourage women to participate in civic society to change things in their interests
- Latest developments in the Cuban Parliament where over 50% of the representatives are now women and 40% black or mixed race
- Issues that affect young female workers
