Annie Keating plays an intimate gig at Kelvindale Bowling Club, featuring songs from “Trick Star”, her seventh and most accomplished album to date, released to wide acclaim in 2016, as well as old favourites. Talent-spotted by BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris, Annie has recorded two sessions for his prestigious radio show and has performed at many international festivals including Take Root and the Brooklyn Americana Festival. Her current album received wide acclaim: “A wonderful record, heartfelt and real” said Bob Harris, while Folk Radio UK described the album as “disarmingly engaging”.
With support from Paul Tasker.
