Websters Theatre Closure: Update 1 September, 2017
The latest on the temporary closure of Websters Theatre, Glasgow West End (Friday, 1 Sept 2017)
Websters Theatre, 416 Great Western Rd, Glasgow G4 9HZ (adjacent to Kelvinbridge Underground)
Webster’s Theatre, Autumn Programme
Websters Theatre, Restaurant and Bar were forced to close after entry via Great Westerrn Road entrance was affected when a stone fragment was dislodged on the Lansdowne Steeple as a result of wind and heavy rain.
Websters are pleased to announce that the theatre will be reopening at the end of September with entry gained via the North Woodside Road door, originally the main entrance to the building. In the future this will be the very attractive permanent entrance to the theatre – as was always planned, and with restoration work well underway.
Once access problems are resolved on Great Western Road, the bar and restaurant will reopen. Websters looks forward to welcoming you back to the theatre and their exciting Autumn Programme:
