Bring in the New Year by welcoming writer Ricky Brown who will be leading a workshop exploring the theme of Changes. References to David Bowie may also be included! Writing time, Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, Fun and much more guaranteed.
Here is a brief Bio for Ricky – Ricky Monahan Brown suffered a serious stroke in 2012. Embarking on his recovery, he realised he had stories to tell. Since then, his fiction has been published in a number of magazines, journals and newspapers – including Scottish PEN’s PENning and the Dublin Inquirer – and the collection of poetry and fiction, Umbrellas of Edinburgh. His non-fiction has featured in Brain Injury Journey and 404 Ink’s Power. Ricky’s night of live literature and music Interrobang?! is the Saboteur Award holder for the Best Spoken Word Night in Britain.
