There are echoes of Kipling and classic westerns in Naji Abu Nowar’s thrilling, award-winning adventure shot on breathtaking locations in southern Jordan. It is 1916 and Bedouin boy Theeb and his elder brother Hussein are largely unaware of the global conflict until British officer Edward (Jack Fox) arrives at their camp. A captivating drama offering a very different perspective on the era of T E Lawrence. GFF15
There will be a Q&A with director Naji Abu Nowar after the 19.15 screening on Sunday 16 August.
