The Science of Ghosts, Glasgow Film Festival
CCA / Mon 25 (20.30) & Tue 26 Feb (15.00)
Director Niall McCann and musician Adrian Crowley will attend the screening on Mon 25 February, 2019
A portrait of an artist, and an artist’s musings on life, Niall McCann’s (Lost In France, GFF17) latest film spans the divide between truth and fiction, creating an experimental documentary that delves deep within the artist psyche. Beginning with an interview that is abruptly interrupted, Adrian Crowley beings to ponder his interpretation of life on screen. What follows is a non-linear discussion of Crowley’s life, his struggles to define his creativity, and reflections on his own persona. An immersive and deeply personal film with similarities to 20000 Days on Earth, if directed by Mark Cousins.
