Creative Conversations
Sophie Collins grew up in Bergen, North Holland, and is a lecturer in Creative Writing at Glasgow University. She is co-editor of tender, an online arts quarterly, and editor of Currently & Emotion (Test Centre, 2016), an anthology of contemporary poetry translations. small white monkeys, a text on self-expression, self-help and shame, was published by Book Works in November 2017 as part of a commissioned residency at Glasgow Women’s Library. Her debut collection Who Is Mary Sue? was published by Faber & Faber in 2018 and shortlisted for the 2018 Saltire Literary Awards Poetry Book of the Year.
As part of the on-going Creative Conversation speaker series poet and writer Sophie Collins comes to campus to chat about her writing. Bring your lunch and burning questions!
