Wim Wenders’ Oscar-nominated documentary is a captivating tribute to the extraordinary life of photographer and environmentalist Sebastião Salgado. The film demonstrates Salgado’s ability to capture the humanity of a moment as he bore witness to history. Now 71, the photographer looks back on his work in a series of testimonials which highlight his struggle to come to terms with the horrors of war, whilst retaining his faith in human nature. GFF15
