Spirit, a wild mustang refuses to be broken by the US Cavalry. Narrated by Matt Damon, the movie chronicles Spirit’s quest to reunite with his herd alongside a Lakota brave, Little Creek, featuring a memorable soundtrack by Bryan Adams.
Take 2 Access screenings take place on the second Saturday of every month and offer a film in a relaxed and welcoming environment for neurodivergent children and families. All are welcome.
Please note, these screenings now take place in Cinema 1 and start at 11.30am. Doors open at 11am.
Level access to the front of Cinema 1 is available via the lift next to Cinema 2 on the ground floor.
Every child attending a Take 2 Access screening receives a free ticket for themselves and two free tickets for their accompanying adults. Free tickets are only issued on the day of the screening. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Additional tickets and/or tickets purchased in advance cost £6.90 each. Further information and buy tickets online

What to expect from Take 2 Access

  • The cinema house lights remain on throughout.
  • The sound levels are turned slightly down.
  • There will be a short introduction from the Duty Manager.
  • There are no adverts or trailers (the film starts promptly after the introduction).
  • There are two Calm Kits – with sensory toys, migraine glass (for light sensitivity), and ear defenders you can access at the start of the screening.
  • For each child aged 14 and under that attends Take 2 Access, two free accompanying adult tickets will be issued (this is one more than standard Take 2 screenings). Extra adult tickets cost £6.90 each. Free tickets are only issued from our Box Office on the day of the screening.
