An inter-generational all-star cast of women bring Robert Harling’s 1987 play to the screen, telling the heartwarming tale of a group of women who find hope and friendship with one another in their times of need. Serendipitously meeting at a small Louisiana beauty parlor, the group converse, laugh and trade barbs throughout the day. Soon it becomes apparent that they share a tight, unique bond, and find that although they may seem to be as delicate as magnolias, they can also be as tough as steel.
