Open Day at The Citizens Theatre
Sunday 24 August, 2025, 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Citizens Theatre 0 Gorbals Street, Glasgow G5 9DS
Celebrations continue on Sunday with another full day of free activities, welcoming Glasgow back into the Citizens Theatre.
Building on Saturday’s procession and first look inside, Sunday offers even more opportunities to explore the building, take part in creative encounters, and connect with the stories that make the Citz so special.
You can step onto the Main Stage and have your portrait taken, get stuck into badge making and screen printing, or explore exhibitions. The Memory Station invites you to share your own Citz stories, and puppets, Comedy and Tragedy, will be back to greet visitors of all ages.
Whether you’re returning for more or visiting for the first time, you are invited to come and be part of this new, exciting chapter for the Citizens Theatre.
