New Candys

“Mixing brooding psychedelia with post-punk stylings, the record captures the full intensity of their live show with devastating results.”
– Drowned In Sound

“The new record, Bleeding Magenta, I can’t recommend it enough.”
– KEXP’s John Richards

“Sounding like a mix of Tame Impala and Temples if they were to cross over to the dark side.”
– Orange Amplification

Described as dark modern rock’n’roll, the band combines noisy, brooding sounds with distinct melodies while displaying a dynamic and symbiotic connection between their music and meticulously crafted visual imagery. The band consists of Fernando Nuti on vocals and guitar, Andrea Volpato on lead guitar, Alessandro Boschiero on bass and Dario Lucchesi on drums. Their latest LP “Bleeding Magenta” was released by Fuzz Club and repressed by Portland based label Little Cloud Records last year. Some of their songs are featured on episodes of Showtime Networks original TV series “Shameless”.

New Candys’ 2018 USA debut tour included a live performance on KEXP and shows in New York, down the West Coast and Mexico. This was preceded by their fourth European and first Australian tour, where they headlined both Sydney and Melbourne Psych Fest. They recently supported The Brian Jonestown Massacre on their Italian tour.

New Candys will be hitting the road in 2019, Europe and North America back to back with 50 shows in less than two months, the last tours before a new record so you can expect some surprises in the setlist!
