MJS – Music Jams Sound(s) with Pamela Poldo Banchetti
Monday, 28 January, 2019 – Gilmorehill, 9 University Avenue, Glasgow G12 8QQ
Hosted by Pamela Poldo Banchettii
This performance is part of a dissertation research which explores Kinesthetic Empathy in contemporary dance. The performance is the 6th meeting of research among dancers, movers, musicians and poets. In the first 5 meetings we have interrogated how we could improvise together allowing equal power of influence to each performer. Now we aim at enlarging our research to a 4th group of bodies, the audience. How will the presence of an audience, which is free to roam around and decide from which perspective and for how long to look at the performance, influences the practice of improvisation?
Performance Studio of the Gilmorehill Centre (Theatre, Film and TV Studies Building of Glasgow University).
