Youth Screening: Grey Gardens at GFT
Tuesday 23 April, 2024, 6.20 p.m.
Edie Bouvier Beale and her mother, Edith, two aging, eccentric relatives of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, are the sole inhabitants of a Long Island estate. The women reveal themselves to be misfits with outsized, engaging personalities. Much of the conversation is centred on their pasts, as mother and daughter now rarely leave home.
This screening will be introduced by Dr Abigail Jenkins, Lecturer in Film and Television Studies at the University of Glasgow, who will also take part in a Q&A after the film.
Please note: there are no ads and trailers before this screening. The introduction will start promptly at 6.20pm.
GFT 12 Rose Street, G3 6RB
