Heir of The Cursed – Beldina Odenyo Onassis – A.K.A Heir of the Cursed – is one of Glasgow’s most captivating contemporary talents. Combining intricate guitar work with mellow melodies that fizz with feeling just beneath the surface, she’s a hypnotic stage presence with a story to tell. The List says she has ‘a raw talent …. [that is] utterly transfixing, transporting you between different time periods and places in an instant’. We reckon you should come down yourself and see what all the fuss is about.

The Kidney Flowers – Is there a better blues punk band in Scotland right now? We doubt it. They sound a bit like a cross between The Fall and The Cramps, but with a selection of sharp hooks and swift turns of phrases that are entirely their own.

RAZA – You can never have enough synth. The more synth the better. Enough synth to put you in an extremely enjoyable trance, with some extremely great drumming thrown in as well. That is all

Stacey McMullen Music – this genre-fusing folk artist’s latest release, ‘When I Cry’ will knock you off your feet – described as ‘a longing for release from all the injustice filling your newsfeed,’ it really shows off McMullen’s astonishing breadth of talent and influences, as a singer, player, rapper and story-teller. One not to miss.

Starry Skies– beautiful, moving stuff from this crew of Glasgow instrumentalists and vocalists. The Starry Skies released their second album, Be Kind, last year, and its a lovely mix of warm ballads and upbeat, dancey tunes.

Vanya Semerderjieva and guests – Too cool to have a Facebook page. You’ll have to come along to see what this is all about…

All in all, a stellar line-up. With everything that is happening in the world right now, there is no better time to stand – or rather, dance – up to fascism, xenophobia and racism. Also, HUGE thanks to EIS_Glasgow for its very kind sponsorship of the event.
