Let Glasgow Flourish 1: Best Laid Schemes

In 1985, a collective of young unemployed people living in Cranhill produced Clyde Film, a poetic history of the people of Glasgow told only in music and images, and set against scenes of failed regeneration. To mark the 30th anniversary of this quietly raging masterpiece, GSFF has curated two programmes exploring the city’s cycle of renewal. This first programme features archive documentaries from the 1940s onwards promoting radical new improvements for the city.
