A stranger arrives on a remote Scottish island… and an odd little world gets even odder.

The tiny island’s sole inhabitants are a pair of siblings who live a stripped‑back life shaped by superstition and rules no outsider is meant to understand. The arrival of a newcomer (Domhnall Gleeson) — a mild mannered land‑recovery official whose tidy, bureaucratic worldview is hilariously mismatched with their rough, ritualistic routine — stirs up suspicion, curiosity and long‑buried fears. As stories twist and alliances shift, The Incomer becomes a quirkily comic tale about belonging, control and the myths small places cling to.
